Explore beer styles, learn about their history, flavor profiles, and why they pair so perfectly with the world-famous Damariscotta River oysters. Mike Fava has over 15 years of professional brewing experience and is currently the beverage director of the top 10 beer bars in the country, Novare Res Bier Cafe. and the co-founder of Sacred Profane Brewing Company in Biddeford Maine. He will be on board to teach how to taste beer and what is best to pair with these sumptuous oysters. You will learn about all oyster farms on the River and their farming methods as we sail by them. The crew will even set up a mini oyster shucking class for the ones interested, and a Maine experience: ‘the way life should be’.
